Leading International Bank is currently seeking a number of Relationship Mangers across London.
This is a great opportunity to work with high net worth individuals and offer an investment advisory and banking service to determine. Dealing with a portfolio of private clients; helping them develop their investment portfolio.
Duties:
• Acting in a team, personally responsible for recruiting and maintaining a portfolio of affluent international clients with the aim of developing significant sales and new business covering banking, investment and lending services.
• Actively seek affluent clients with the aim of incorporating them into your portfolio of clients. This will include acting on any referrals from clients and/or other parts of the group.
• Developing and maintaining the Establish clients’ goals and develop sales opportunities to meet clients’ needs including, the provision of quality investment and financial planning advice by an Investment Manager. Also to introduce clients, as appropriate, to other members of the group.
• To ensure that the agreed level of revenue for the jobholder’s own portfolio is maintained, with corrective action taken where necessary.
• Assist with and undertake ‘business as usual’ business management, change management and sales fulfillment responsibilities that have an effect on client and team relationships.
Requirements:
• Must be client focused, driven to achieve targets, willing to learn and develop self.
• Awareness of the Data Protection Act/Consumer Credit Act/Financial Services Act
• Knowledge of the Banks risk management principles and procedures
• Knowledge of the UK & global economic and political conditions, current affairs, and competitor activity.
• Good knowledge of International Banking & strategy planning with business awareness.
• Typically have a minimum of 2 years in a front-line customer/people contact role
• CEMAP/FPC/IAC or CeFA qualified Preferred
• The job holder must be totally at ease with the concept of personal affluence and high- net worth clients
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate at least 2 years experience in either: Investments, Financial Planning, Private Banking or Wealth Management and will have to demonstrate that they have the experience and knowledge on how to generate wealth management, private banking and lending business; directly or with professional intermediaries.
Must have UK FS experience.
Salary:
The basic on offer is between £28,000 £33,000 + £3550 London Weighting - OTE is UNCAPPED - realistically you can earn 100% of basic £50-£60K.
