Excellent permanent opportunity for a HR Advisor to join international company based in Aylesford, Kent.
Duties inclde;
**Assisting the HR Manager in the performance of all HR duties
**Contribute to the development of HR plans and strategies and support the HR Manager in the preparation/revising of HR policies and procedures.
**Ensure; in conjunction with line managers, that policies and procedures in relation to the HR function are fully implemented
**Keep self, abreast of changes in UK HR legislation, regulation and best practice
**Provide best practice information and generalist HR advice and assistance to all line managers as required
**Provide advice and support on disciplinary and grievance issues and probation reviews
**Give support and guidance to Admin support
**Provide cost effective recruitment initiatives, liaise with agencies as required and co-ordinate recruitment activities
**Guide managers through the recruitment and selection process and ensure compliance with the Company’s recruitment and selection policies and procedures
**Ensure performance reviews take place for all staff and that these are conducted to the highest standards in line with best practice.
**Maintain the Snowdrop HR information system, ensuring data is up to date and accurate in order to ensure the provision of value added management information
**Ensure payroll data is provided in an accurate and timely manner
**Create and sustain partnerships both internally and externally
**Promote good practice with the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
**All other duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Applicants must have;
•Minimum of Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP) or equivalent
•Strong presentation, negotiation and IT Skills
•Sound knowledge of Employment Law
•Comfortable with operating in a unionised environment
•Previous experience of working in an office and warehouse environment
•Must have ability to handle situations sensitively and with confidence
•Written and verbal communication
