Brilliant opportunity to work for one of the Worlds leading post production facilities. Working out of state of the art offices located in the centre of the film industry, they create high-end visual effects and computer animation for the advertising, music, television and feature film industries.
Recent expansion has led to the urgent requirement for an experienced HR Manager who will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Summary
The HR Manager will be expected to provide a full range of HR services and operational HR support to the company. The HR Manager partners with management and employees to foster communications and to address/resolve complex issues further ensuring the continued success of the business. The HR Manager participates in key initiatives that contribute to the improvement of quality, performance and the overall success of achieving key objectives of the business.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Senior Management team, provide input into strategic decision making and act as a key representative for the business.
Provides interpretation of company policies and procedures to both management and employees.
Translate strategies into actions via project work in conjunction with the Corporate HR management platform.
Provides effective employee communications.
Handles employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
Research and update HR policies and procedures where required to support MPC in line with Group Policy and legislative changes.
Provide management information to support the business (including information provision to the US). Action regular headcount and activity reports and respond to ad hoc reporting requirements (both local and corporate).
Manage the benefit schemes including Private Healthcare, Group Personal Pension.
Skills and Experience
4+ years experience in a similar generalist role or 2+ years at Manager Level and working knowledge of employment law.
Experience of working within media and creative industries (ideally within film, advertising or broadcast).
CIPD Qualified (or equivalent)
Confident and effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and rapport at all levels with both external and internal client groups
Flexibility to work under pressure to meet business requirements and multi task.
Ability to organize and prioritize requirements effectively
Able to demonstrate Business and financial acumen.
