An excellent opportunity to work within the Public Sector as an Administrative Officer
To carry out a range of administrative duties for the Section with limited supervision, which may involve written, telephone or face to face contact with the public or internal colleagues and the application of organisational procedures and systems. The temp will be expected to have good organisational skills and be able to use IT effectively in implementing tasks.
Main tasks:-
inputting/updating/cleansing information on the data base. Monthly meetings with social workers to confirm information send out medical/dental information and contact foster carers. Support a team of social work staff. Some reception cover. A knowledge of social care and carefirst or simlar databse would be an advantage.
Must have:-
• Good written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience of undertaking a variety of administrative duties in a structured environment to support the delivery of services.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Knowledge of equalities & diversity issues.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Can make decisions in a timely manner.
• Numerate.
• Organisational skills.
• Customer focused.
