Set Top Box Development- C, Embedded, Linux, Broadcast

A vacancy exists for an experienced software engineer who wants to join a dynamic and committed team and be actively involved in all technical aspects of the company including project definition, development, deployment and compliance. The successful candidate will understand System on a Chip (SoC) architectures and preferably have a background in digital video broadcasting such as developing set top box middleware or conditional access software and be skilled in many of the following areas:
The application of SoC architectures in a Set Top Box environment.
Understanding Conditional Access solutions and middleware interaction.
Working with other companies at all software engineering levels.
Experience with Linux and C compilers as well as other operating systems and development environments.
Communicating and making presentations and interfacing with people at all levels.
Experience of tools such as MATLAB and knowledge of video signals would be an advantage.
