Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor – Career Progression

A Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor is required to take control of a number of projects in the Hertfordshire area

Remuneration:
£40,000 - £46,000 per annum plus benefits

Benefits will include: Car/Car allowance, Pension, Health Care and a discretionary annual bonus

The Client:
My client is a leading Main Contractor who specialises in new build, refurbishment and design and build projects. Examples of work include schools/educational centres, retail stores, libraries, and police stations

Due to a recent influx of projects my client has asked me to source a number of Quantity Surveyors at various levels including a competent Senior Quantity Surveyor from a Main Contractor background

The job:
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will assume responsibility for part of a framework that my client has recently acquired with Hertfordshire County Council. You will be responsible for 1 Assistant Quantity Surveyor and 2 Project Quantity Surveyors who will all report directly back to you.

This is still very much a hands on role, but this role is unique in the sense that the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be able to gain valuable management experience which will help them in their future career

Requirements:
10-12 years UK Quantity Surveying experience
Main Contractor background
New Build and Design and Build experience is essential
Refurbishment experiece is desirable
A previous history of working on construction projects of a similar value is advantageous
