Our client is seeking a high calibre Hardware Design Engineer to primarily work on a new HD PVR design. Ideally you will have some of the following, although accomplished, capable Designers with a proven track record will be considered:-
• Relevant degree level or higher education
• Several years experience of STB H/W design
• In-depth knowledge of all H/W ‘Blocks’ within a typical PVR design
• Design experience from having worked with one or more STB chipsets from Conexant, ST, Broadcom or NEC
• Familiarity with Nucleus+ Linux kernel, Open TV middleware, NDS XTV etc.
• C and Assembler skills
• Self motivated, good team worker, punctual
• Ideally familiar with one or more of BSkyB’s STB Hardware specs.
