Recruitment Consultant - Trainee - IT
This opportunity is in the Corporate Accounts division of my client which provides blue chip clients with skilled contract and permanent IT staff. Each of our clients is assigned a dedicated account manager who acts as a single point of contact, ensuring that recruitment targets are met and that the highest standards of service are maintained.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Permanent Corporate Accounts Team in London, for a Key Account Manager to manage a high profile client portfolio covering the Mobile telecoms and Investment banking sectors.
The company its self is THE leading IT recruitment company in the UK and almost globally, having 28 different offices in 28 different cities; I know every company says this but for once, my client can honestly boast this reputation due to the sheer amount of volume and revenue per head this company achieves, as well as the expanse of candidates this client provides to its clients, ranging from low margins of support staff up to your most executive appointments, as they now have a Search arm.
THE ROLE:
You will manage, maintain and develop all aspects of the relationship and delivery with nominated client accounts.
Responsibilities:
•Provide quality account management to all existing and new accounts
•Manage and develop client relationships
•Resource for suitable candidates & create a referenced short list
•Regularly meetings with key client contacts to gain a thorough understanding of the specific industry, organisational structure, service offering and resourcing requirements
•Cultivate knowledge of the account (business and technical)
•Generate and action new business leads and account development opportunities
•Generate cross selling opportunities within the Group,
•Forecast business on a weekly and monthly basis
•Meet delivery targets in line with client SLA\'s
•Provide value added services to existing clients
•Act as a role model for less senior team members, providing mentoring & training
YOU SHOULD BE:
The ideal person should be extremely bright and switched on, with a good degree from a good University with good A-Levels to boot. You should be polished, well spoken and articulate, with the potential to be extremely credible with both high calibre of clients and candidates such as Investment bankers. As well as a vibrant personality, you should have energy, enthusiasm, with the ability to succeed in a fast paced environment. Additionally, a broad knowledge of technology and job roles within an IT department would be great, as well as a proven experience of delivery against sales targets, new business development experience, Client presentation experience and Negotiation skills.
