Project Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor – Variety of projects
A Project Quantity Surveyor is required by a prestigious Main Contractor based in the Hertfordshire area to work leisure, pubs, clubs, sports arenas, cinemas, art centres and defence/mod projects. You will assume the post of Managing Quantity Surveyor
Remuneration:
In return for the ideal Project Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take the next step up in their career my client is willing to pay £40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus benefits.

The client:
My client is the construction focused operation within a much bigger group of companies. They turnover approximately £50million per annum and currently employ a highly motivated team who are dedicated to their client satisfaction. Many of my client’s key clients are the envy of the construction industry.
Due to a recent influx of projects and the promotion of a Senior Quantity Surveyor my client has the capability to bring on an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take the next step up in their career.
The job:
As the successful Project Quantity Surveyor or recently promoted Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the Commercial Management of a number of interesting projects as mentioned above. Project range from short duration refurbishments to new build construction projects worth up to £15million
This position involves managing and training a small team of site based quantity surveyors to deliver a high standard of cost management for their clients whilst achieving profitability and generating long term new business
The successful candidate will be involved with 2 stage tenders (commercial side) but will also have the chance to undertake claims work
Requirements:
Ideally 5-10 years Quantity Surveying experience
Main Contractor or PQS background will be considered
Construction, new build and refurbishment project experience is essential
Ambition and commitment are key attributes to be able to secure this role
Educational qualifications are not a high priority
