Position: Design Coordinator
Package: £50-55k basic, car allowance and rail fares with full package of benefits
Company: London and South East regional Main Contractor, undertaking new build and refurbishment projects to £40m upon a traditional and D&B basis across most building sectors.
Role: Design Coordinator to be project focused, to provide design co-ordination expertise to the Project Manager in the startup and Construction phase, offering guidance and advice upon buildability issues and co-ordination of the design process, responsibilities include value-engineering work, project specifications, ensure the design process recognises current legislation, clarification of design issues, monitoring of subcontractors and external consultants.
Requirements: The successful applicant will have worked for recognised construction companies in the UK, will be well versed in construction design across new build and refurbishment projects. You should possess good technical, IT, administrative and communication skills.
