DEPUTY MANAGER
£25000 + excellent benefits
Our client has been at the forefront of progressive and quality care for over 40 years and is also a major disability charity that provides practical support for adults with learning disabilities. The service that they provide is tailored to the wants, needs and aspirations of the individuals.
They operate a range of services in a variety of locations around the UK and are currently supporting approximately 500 people and their families and have continued to grow to meet the constant demand for the services.
You will be involved in monitoring and ensuring that regular assessment and review of support plans occur with the person being supported, their family, advocate(s), care manager and staff members.
Your duties will include:
? You will co-ordinate and monitor support to provide opportunities for service users to fulfill their social, welfare, spiritual and religious needs.
? You will deliver opportunities to develop daily living skills which will help the service to become more independent.
? You will ensure that the service users have access to leisure, day and employment opportunities, which meet their needs and wishes.
? You will co-ordinate and rota staff to meet the needs of individuals in a person centred way.
? You will monitor and manage the effectiveness of this support and make new arrangements as required.
? You will maintain professional relationships with outside agencies families and statutory bodies.
? You will ensure all health needs are met for the service users by making sure that the health checks and health plans are in place.

You must have a minimum of two years experience with an NVQ level 3 and be a car driver.
