Ongoing temp position working from 7am : 10am and 3pm : 9pm Monday to Friday.
Working in this disciplinary visually impaired setting, you will help enable the children to reach their full educational and social potential. You will partake in admissions and care reviews and will need to write comprehensive reports. You will monitor and asses the children?s complex needs and the ability to drive a minibus is desirable as you will initiate and participate in recreational activates such as swimming. You will supervise staff on a 1:1 basis and become a role model to the children.
This rewarding role will see you promote the physical, intellectual, emotional and social well being of the children.
This position requires a flexible worker as the hours are 40 per week to include rotational sleep ins and lunch cover for 38 weeks per year at £8.75 per hour.
Minimum 2 years experience or an NVQ3 level childcare qualification needed. You will have experience of working in a small team setting, of overseeing children?s pastoral care and have an awareness of OFSTED and the Commission For Social Care Inspection legislation and standards.
