Trainee Media Sales – to £19K Basic £25K OTE – Financial Magazine
Our clients are one of the fastest growing B2B publishers in the UK specialising in the Financial Sector, with rapid growth and acquisitions they have gone from strength to strength over the past few years. Due to their success they are looking to recruit 2 Trainee Sales Executives this is a unique opportunity to break into media sales with in an organisation at the top of their game. They offer full sales training and a grounding in all aspects of media including print, events and online. If you are interested in pursuing a career with in the Media this could be the ideal job for you.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
1 Qualifications: Candidates should be bright enthusiastic and have a keen desire to succeed. The right attitude with plenty of drive will compensate for any lack of further education.
2 Experience Required: Experience of telesales, telemarketing or account management / business development experience is an advantage. A basic knowledge of the financial markets, dealing with senior professionals or a good understanding of online products would also be an advantage. Although allowances will be made for the right candidate.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
1 Communication skills; including both oral and written communication, negotiation, telephone and effective listening skills
2 Interpersonal skills; being able to work well within a team as well as working independently to deadlines, be pro-active, goal-orientated and be able to use own initiative
3 Organisational skills; be a motivated quick learner able to multi-task and prioritize a busy workload. Candidates must also be punctual and reliable
4 PC skills; A working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook is essential, other Microsoft applications & working knowledge of in the Internet is desirable.
