Assistant Consultant in Environmental Policy

Are you interested in working to inform policy development at a European and UK Government level? Do you want to work in a leading team of policy and economic specialists? Do you want challenging and diverse work opportunities?
Our policy team delivers a wide variety of challenging, high profile and cutting edge projects. We are integral to decision making of our clients, who include European Commission, UK Government and key private sector organisations. Due to the continued success of our business we are looking to expand the team with this key appointment.
If you join our growing team you could be developing and implementing European and UK Government policy in any of the following areas:
• climate change, including mitigation and adaptation
• air quality and air emissions, especially focussed on transport and industrial sectors
• other policy areas including chemicals, water and waste / resources
You could also be working with corporate clients, developing strategies in the above areas.
You will work in multi-disciplinary teams, providing technical contributions to projects including evaluation of technical and policy measures; cost-benefit analysis; policy development and implementation; information collection and analysis; and spreadsheet model development. You will also support development of proposals for new projects.
