My client is a leading UK consumer magazine publisher. Almost two in every three UK women and over 45% of UK men read one of their magazines. That's almost 27 million UK adults, and 60% of the online population. Their digital properties include the third largest commercial music website in the UK.

A new role has been launched within the Classified department for a Group Sales & Recruitment Manager. Your role will be to manage a team of sales executives selling online.
This will include:
• Managing and motivating the sales team of 6/8 on a day to day basis
• Initial interviewing for Classified sales executives
• Developing individual staff to meet their potential career aims and move into classified core teams
• Working alongside the classified training team to coach and train the team
• Delivering revenues into online directory models

Key qualities for this role would be a very strong sales ability and good man-management skills. Overall the candidate must have excellent communication skills, and must be highly organised as this will be an important team within the department that will cold call current listings to offer upgraded opportunities. They will have had extensive recruiting responsibility and exposure to coaching sales staff.
