Senior Consultant- Business Intelligence(BI)

My client is a major BI/CRM vendor based in the City. They have an established product that is widely recognised as an industry leader and they currently require a senior billable consultant to work with their professional services team. The role is challenging and you will be given demanding assignments in areas such as data mining engagements to enterprise wide e-business solutions implemented by cross functional teams.

You will be expected to provide billable consulting support such as product installation and implementation, enhancement, integration and audits. In addition you will be required to perform data modelling, application development, technical product assistance and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements. This will be in a variety of industries and you will also mentor consultants due to your experience.

This will be suitable for someone with 5 years plus experience consulting on a Business Intelligence(BI) project, backed up with a bachelors or equivalent qualification in a business, technical or related field. You should have a Strong understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology: RDBMS, Web, Client/ Server, and OLAP and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements. Ideally you should have good knowledge of the following industries: Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Telecommunications, Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare and ERP. . You will need strong communication skills both written and orally, with the ability to mentor consultants deemed useful.
