Fund Accountant – Leading “Fund of Hedge Funds”
£30,000-£40,000 + Excellent Package, based West End
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established, yet growing company based in the West End of London. Working in the Fund Management and Fund raising team you will be responsible for all aspects of fund accounting including monthly NAV reconciliations, NAV estimates, preparing and executing month end hedging foreign exchange trades as well as a host of other duties. You will be working closely with third party administrators as well as internal and external auditors.
To be successful in this position you must have experience in a fund accounting role at either a Fund Administrator or Investment Manager, and be looking to progress your career within the ever-growing “fund of hedge funds” industry. Accounting qualifications are desirable, but by no means essential. Excellent communication skills coupled with an advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and Word are a must, as is the ability and enthusiasm to cross train in all aspects of Operations and Fund Accounting.
