House Manager

Your Duties will include:
? Leading the staff team.
? Providing care and support to the service users that have learning disabilities and mental health issues living in the supported housing services.
? Developing and maintaining high professional standards of care which are responsive to individual service users needs and promote personal dignity, freedom of choice, maximum independence, and participation in the mainstream of neighborhood life in the local and the surrounding areas.
? Assisting the Service Manager in the management of administrative and domestic functions, to ensure that services meet registration standards and are run cost effectively and with due regard to the safety and comfort of the service users.
? Assisting service users to make contact with local day centres, adult education, leisure services, lunch clubs etc.
? Ensuring service users receive all their entitlements to statutory services and benefits
? Recognising and value individuals? cultural identity and enable them to express this according to their wishes.
? Attend to the service users physical needs e.g. maneuvering, bathing, appropriate use of toilet, meal preparation and eating.
