Insurance Product Development & Pricing Manager – General Insurance
Leading Insurance Group, based South Hertfordshire/N.W. London
£75,000 - £85,000 + Excellent Package
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Actuary with previous General Insurance experience to join a leading UK Insurance company. With responsibility for managing product development and projects within their Underwriting and Actuarial team, you will be a key part of the organisation and will have a significant impact on the development of new products and review of existing ones. You will also be responsible for ensuring that there is a coherent product pricing strategy and that it is consistent with underwriting policy. As part of this, you will also review current pricing methodologies and implement regular reviews for all products.
To be successful in this role, you should be either a qualified Actuary, or a Senior Underwriter with a proven product development or pricing background within the General Insurance market. Key to the role is a strong, commercial and creative outlook, combined with a good understanding of both pricing and product development within this field. Good communication skills are also important as is the ability to work closely with a wide variety of individuals and departments.
