My client urgently requires a number 2 that can stand alone and look after a £15 million government PFI project to work in Isleworth
Location: Middlesex
Remuneration:
£42,000 - £46,000 per annum

The Client:
My client is one of the UK\'s leading family-owned construction, civil engineering and property services companies, with expertise in delivering projects for there clients in affordable housing, civic buildings & amenities, commercial property, education, healthcare and transport (including airports, highways and rail).
Founded in 1966 they employ over 1,000 people, have nine offices in the southern half of the UK and an annual turnover of £260 million.
The Role:
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be reporting to a Commercial Manager as the number 2 on a range of projects valued up to £30 million
The Projects:
£1 million Health project constructing a new mental health unit plus external works involving part demolition, extension and refurbishment of existing single storey building to form a new mental health facility
£15 million government project constructing 6 new courts to the existing building involving minor refurbishment works
They currently operate in countries all over the world with an order book currently in excess of £2 billion
Requirements:
• Contractor background
• Minimum 6 years Quantity Surveying experience
• Previously held a position in a similar role
• Experience with projects of a similar value or more
• Degree qualified
• Charted status advantageous
