We are seeking an experienced Russian speaking Programme Planner who has gained experience in a TV environment focusing on the Russian or CIS region.
Reporting to the Channel Manager this is an excellent opportunity to be part of an international team in an expanding gloabl company with a view to developing and implementing Programme Planning Strategy.

Responsibilities
- Focusing on specific markets, develop and implement programme planning and scheduling policies of the organisation
- Working with partner organisations to develop programme schedules for targeted markets
- Communicating with Research departments to gain thorough understanding of ratings details and their possible impact on schedules , to make any changes necessary
- Gain knowledge of competitor organisations and their influences on the market, understand how this can influence schedule plans
- Advise on potential acquisitions to move the programme planning strategy forward
- Maintain close relations with the advertising sales team
- Facilitate schedules, organise communications with Scheduling team on a weekly basis for progress updates
Requirements
- Russian to mother tongue standard (written and spoken)
- 5 years experience in a Programme Planning role within a broadcasting environment (Russia or the CIS)
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and work towards strict deadlines, managing multiple markets.
- Strong IT skills including good Excel
- Excellent knowledge of scheduling systems and processes and how to improve them
- Ability to work efficiently in an established team, as well as manage individual tasks
This is a permanent position paying from £26,000 to £28,000 per annum.
