Due to the merging of two payroll departments within this public sector organisation an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Manager to take on an interim post managing the newly created larger team. With two Payroll Managers as direct reports, and a total management responsibility of 8 employees, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading a team during a time of change.
Key duties will include resolving initial issues with their new SAP payroll system, so experience of MYSAP is essential. In addition the successful candidate will be required to amend and improve payroll policies and procedures, as well as working with the Payroll Managers to set key performance indicators and monitor the team's work.
